Steve Pristin is a freelancing documentary filmmaker residing in downtown
Brooklyn. He was born in Manhattan, raised by a Russian/Jewish Father and
a Chinese/Trinidadian Mother on a steady diet of oxtail stew, kreplach, and
good music.

In 2004 he lived in Copenhagen where he studied sociology and design. In
2006 he graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.

Steve works in the art and entertainment industry most recently working
for HBO, 40 Acres and a Mule and Deitch Projects.

Steve founded the music and lifestyle blog ISmellLikeMoney.com, is in
charge of public relations for a Los Angeles based clothing company, and
organizes monthly parties highlighting up and coming designers and musical
acts at "Public Assembly" in Williamsburg and at "Arlo and Esme" on the
Lower East Side.

His grandmother makes the best Char Siu Bao (that's pork buns for those of
you who don't speak Chinese).
