Steven Donziger is a New York-based human rights attorney who has represented Ecuadorian indigenous and farmer communities since they initiated their legal battle against Chevron in 1993. A former criminal defense attorney and public defender, he is also the editor of The Real War On Crime (HarperPerennial) and the former chief correspondent for United Press International in Nicaragua during the contra war.
