Lakhana Peou

Screening for Mental Health

Lakhana Peou is the Director of Programs at Screening for Mental Health and responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of SMH programming. She brings twenty years of experience in program administration, community engagement, staff and organizational development. Prior to joining Screening for Mental Health, Lakhana served as the Director of Health and Wellness at The Notah Begay III Foundation and Senior Program Manager at the Acoma, Canoncito, Laguna Teen Centers/ Division of Prevention and Population Sciences/ Department of Pediatrics/ University of New Mexico. She is a refugee from Cambodia and holds a Master of Social Work in Social Development from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from Mount Holyoke College.
