Stuart Sherman

An ordinary man with an extraordinary dog.

Stuart Sherman is an ordinary man with an extraordinary NEADS service dog named Swanson. He lives in Bristol, Conn. and currently works as the quality director at a manufacturing company. Stuart graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 1977 with a degree in music education. He's been married to his wife Celeste for 38 years and they have two grown daughters, Abby and Mandy. Stuart was living an active, healthy life until the symptoms of ALS began appearing in 2011.
