Senior Manager of National Research and Policy, New York City Anti-Violence Project

Emily is the Senior Manager of National Research and Policy at the New York City Anti-Violence. She oversees the research and policy work of the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP), which is a coalition of over 50 organizations across the country that respond to and prevent violence against LGBTQ people. She's authored multiple national reports on the ways that hate violence and intimate partner violence impact LGBTQ and HIV affected communities. She holds a Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily currently resides in Brooklyn, and favorites past times include impromptu dance parties and indoor gardening.
