Sujata Mitra is the Senior Director of Communications for the Huffington Post. Prior to joining HuffPost, she was Director of Marketing Communications for CQ Roll Call, an Economist Group business covering Congress. Before CQ Roll Call, Sujata spent several years at PR agencies in New York and DC, with a focus on media relations serving clients in the media. Before moving into public relations, Sujata was a producer at The McLaughlin Group, Al Jazeera English, and WPIX-TV in New York City, where she won an Emmy Award for the station's one-year 9-11 anniversary coverage. She is a born and raised New Yorker who now calls DC her home. She and her husband are proud parents of two amazing boys.
