Sulome Anderson is a journalist and author based between New York City and Beirut, Lebanon. An alumna of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, she regularly reports feature stories for publications including The Atlantic, VICE, New York magazine, Vox and Foreign Policy. She has covered subjects ranging from Syrian refugee child brides to an ISIS presence in Lebanon, and also worked in Egypt and Turkey, where she reported on anti-government protests. Sulome's upcoming book The Hostage’s Daughter, a memoir and investigation of her father Terry Anderson’s seven-year captivity by terrorists in Lebanon, is scheduled for publication with HarperCollins’ Dey Street imprint on October 4, 2016.
