Sultana Hakimi is the wife of the Afghan Ambassador to the United States. Mrs. Hakimi advocates for women’s rights, education, and economic empowerment in Afghanistan, during her time in Washington, D.C. She is currently the President of the Muslim Women’s Association and a member of the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Council.
