Sunil John has been at the heart of the public relations business in the Middle East for two decades. During this time he has shaped ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller (www.asdaabm.com) to be the benchmark of public relations consultancy in the Arab world, advising regional governments, international brands and global & local companies. The consultancy has over a 150 professionals working in 11 wholly-owned offices across the Middle East. The success of the company has been widely acknowledged, notably when ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller was named the Middle East & Africa PR Agency of the year by the New York-based International Business Awards for several years. Since 2008, Sunil has been instrumental in conducting the annual Arab Youth Survey, and in April 2013 launched its fifth edition. The survey is one of the most quoted independent public opinion research work by media across the world. He has been listed on the “Arabian Business Expat 50” of the Most Influential Non-Arab Expatriates in the Middle East in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He is the only PR Industry figure on the list.
