Susan B. Katz

Susan B. Katz is an award-winning author with Random House, Scholastic and Barefoot Books. She is a National Board Certified Teacher who spent over 20 years as a bilingual, elementary educator, literacy consultant and professional development coordinator. Most recently, Ms. Katz worked as the Strategic Partner Manager for Authors and Publishers at Facebook.

Susan is a University of Michigan graduate.
She is also the Founder and Executive Director of http://www.ConnectingAuthors.org, a national non-profit that brings children's book authors and illustrators into schools and libraries as role models of literacy and the arts.

Susan B. Katz is the author of ABC BABY ME (Random House, 2010) and MY MAMA EARTH (Barefoot, 2012), which won the Moonbeam Gold Award for Best Picture Book of 2012 as well as being named “Top Green Toy” by Education.com. She has two titles forthcoming with Scholastic Books in 2015 and 2016.
