I design and facilitate community conversations that lead to change.
Susan works side by side with organizations and communities to engage people in productive conversations that lead to change. She specializes in framing policy issues for public discussion, and works with formal and informal leaders who wish to build their capacity to organize and implement inclusive, effective engagement processes.

Through her work with Everyday Democracy, she has assisted many people and communities with their work to create and sustain public dialogue and problem solving. She has also co-authored several discussion guides for Everyday Democracy, including Facing Racism in a Diverse Nation, which is being used around the country to help communities address race relations and racial equity.
