Scientist and citizen activist

Susan Rhea is a retired Federal geophysicist, having worked for the US Geological Survey in the earthquake mitigation program for 33 years. Her interests focused on communicating science for Congress and the general public, and fair pay. She is a citizen activist, working on reproductive rights, climate change mitigation, and immigrant literacy. She agrees with Prof. Al Bartlett: “The greatest shortcoming of the human race is our inability to understand the exponential function.”
