Suzanne Kayian

Suzanne Kayian is a Maui-based freelance writer, public relations specialist and social media maven. After years as the senior writer at Pollstar (the world's leading concert-industry trade publication), the California native left the mainstream music business to pursue her dream of raising her daughter in Hawaii.

Ask Suzanne about her favorite celebrity interviews and the answer changes depending on who is asking; Tony Bennett, Usher, Faith Hill, Ani DiFranco, Mick Fleetwood, Oasis and No Doubt are some of her faves. She is also very honored to have interviewed the late Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon and Brad Nowell of Sublime.

Suzanne heads Play it Forward Concerts, a philanthropic promotion company which provides up-and-coming musicians exposure by having them share the stage with established artists. Her Media Zealot Communications is an umbrella for her writing, PR and social media work.
