Suzanne M. McCarron is the Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for Exxon Mobil Corporation. She has worldwide responsibility for the Company's activities in the areas of government relations, communications, media relations, global community relations and corporate branding and advertising. She also is Chairman of the ExxonMobil Foundation, the primary philanthropic arm of the Exxon Mobil Corporation in the United States. Previously, Ms. McCarron was the General Manager of Public and Government Affairs and President of the ExxonMobil Foundation. She joined the company in 1998. A native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Ms. McCarron has a master’s degree in journalism from The University of Western Ontario and a bachelor’s in public affairs from Mount St. Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ms. McCarron serves as a member of the Defeating Malaria Board at Harvard University. She also is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
