Swanee Hunt is founder and president of Swanee Hunt Alternatives, an operating foundation based in Cambridge, MA. She is the Eleanor Roosevelt Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, where she founded the Women and Public Policy Program. She was US Ambassador to Austria from 1993-97. Her foundation operates Inclusive Security, a non-profit in Washington, which advances women as decision-makers in peace and Security; Demand Abolition, an initiative that is reducing the demand for paid commercial sex in the United States; and Prime Movers, a program supporting leaders of American social movements.
