Tony Aiello

Just another combat-veteran-ex-academic-longtime-publishing-professional-stay-at-home-dad-writer from Brooklyn (who grew up in Chicago).

Tony Aiello is an at-home dad, writer, and publishing consultant who lives in Brooklyn with his wife, toddler, French bulldog, and half-wild cat. Tony has been a soldier, scholar, and bike messenger; a teacher, electrician, and an editor; a project manager, bartender, and a carpenter. His book Equipment: Gulf War Poems was published in 2014. His memoir This Fucking House: Love, Hate, and Real Estate, about spending 7 years renovating a 140-year-old brownstone in the then-notorious, now-booming neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, is forthcoming.
