Tamara Belinfanti is an Associate Professor of Law at New York Law School where she teaches courses in the areas of business law, corporate governance, and corporate legal practice. Her scholarship explores how legal rules affect the behavior, culture and/or identity of individuals, organizations, and the communities within which they exist, and relatedly how law should account for behavioral and cultural characteristics of individuals, organizations and the communities that it seeks to regulate.

She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2000.

She is also one of the first to write about the need for oversight in the proxy advisory industry. Her work can be accessed at SSRN.
