Tamara McClintock Greenberg, PsyD, MS is a clinical psychologist in private practice in San Francisco. As an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSF, Tamara has been teaching and providing supervision in the fields of psychoanalytic psychotherapy, health psychology, and consultation with medical and aging patients for over 17 years. In addition to being in private practice since 1998, Tamara provided inpatient mental health services in the UCSF hospitals for over a decade. She continues to provide consultation and psychotherapy in long-term care facilities. Her most recent book is the second edition of Psychodynamic Perspectives on Aging and Illness (Springer, 2016). Her writing has appeared in Psychology Today online, The Huffington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Good Men Project, and Maria Schriver's website. Tamara has also been interviewed for articles in Newsweek, USA Today, Next Avenue/PBS, and has been a guest on several radio programs including KQED's Forum.
