Named by The Tennessean as one of 18 Tennesseans to watch in 2018, Tami founded #takeemdown901, the successful movement to remove Confederate statues in Memphis, TN. She frequently speaks and writes about the continued movement for social justice and racial equity in the south. Tami is currently a candidate for Shelby County Commission.
