Taskeen Khan is High School Sophomore and winner of 3 Silver Key Awards in the 2014 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Competition, 1st place winner of the Writing Conference Inc's "National Creative Writing Contest", 1st place winner of the "Writing We Love Contest" and 2nd place winner of the "Dunham International Memorial Poetry Competition", among other awards.
Her publishing history includes Chicago Parent magazine, Poetic Power anthology and the Glen Bard, her school newspaper. She has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, Islamic Horizons magazine, TribLocal.com, Chicago Crescent, Wheaton Ledger, Glen Ellyn News, Glen Ellyn Sun and The Muslim Observer.
