Ted is a technology research and strategy consultant, and does his best to write on the web about technology and other lovely things whenever possible. His background is in academia, where he spent many a wee hour conducting research in the amorphous area covering data, technology, health, crisis response, and international development. He enjoys trail running, travel to faraway lands, and exotic shrub drinks - preferably all together, though he's not picky. Ted pays rent in San Francisco, but spends less time there than he'd like.
