Ten Ton Man

Musician/Creative Director Paul Livornese shares insight on living life after 50. For more information tentonman.com

Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Westchester since he was 6, Paul Livornese discovered New York City nightlife during his teens. He would often sneak into Studio 54, the Mudd Club and other notable live music and dance clubs on the weekends.

In 1980 he returned to NYC to attend Parson’s School of Design while living in the East Village. Graduating with a Communication Arts degree, Livornese has worked at many major publications and ad agencies as a Creative Director in NYC.

In 2010 when his father fell ill and passed away, he realized that life is in fact short. His need to be fulfilled in life resurrected his passion for music and songwriting, and in 2012, he founded the band Ten Ton Man. After solid reviews of Ten Ton Man’s first two studio albums, Livornese is set to release his third album in 2015, while continuing to work in the advertising industry.
