Terri Gaffney, MPA, RN

MPA, RN, is the Senior Director for New Product Development at the American Nurses Association, the largest professional nursing organization in the United States. She brings

to this role over 20 years of health care and leadership experience. Prior to joining ANA, Ms. Gaffney served as a Vice President of Nursing Communications & Initiatives at Gannett Healthcare Group, a multimedia information and education company which published Nursing Spectrum and NurseWeek. Ms. Gaffney also served as the Executive Director of the American Academy of Nursing in Washington, DC. She received her bachelor’s of science in nursing from the Medical College of Virginia, master’s in public administration from Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at George Mason University.
