Terry Kaye

Professional actress and singer

Terry Kaye is a professional actress and singer, with credits including the national tour of Fiddler on the Roof and the European tour of Evita. She has appeared on television and film, and on the American Music Awards as a back-up singer for Jessica Simpson. She will appear as Claire in the upcoming pilot “webisode” of “Forbidden Doors,” based on the popular series of novels by Bill Myers.

A native New Yorker, Terry has lived in Los Angeles since 2000. For the last five years, she has worked as a police records specialist, and she is the lead female singer with the band “Rapid Response,” a rocking group of police and fire department employees. She is the founder and program manager of the Saralee and Carol Foundation.

The foundation is named for Terry’s mother, Saralee Kaye, and longtime family friend Carol Matseoane, who lost her nine-year-long battle with breast cancer just months before Saralee’s death from endometrial cancer.
