Deborah J. Cornwall is an experienced advocate on behalf of cancer patients and their families, working with the Cancer Action Network, the legislative advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society (ACS). She is a member of two ACS panels that review applications for ACS research funding. She is also the author of two books for cancer caregivers. The first, Things I Wish I’d Known: Cancer Caregivers Speak Out, offers common caregiving lessons throughout the caregiving experience from 101 cancer caregivers for 117 patients ranging in age from 2 to 92. The second, Things I Wish I'd Known: Cancer and Kids, offers guidance for people who need to talk about cancer with children.
