Kevin is a freelance travel writer, videographer, documentary filmmaker and creator of The 30 Postcards Project. His travels have taken him to 117 countries on six continents and even included two trips to the bottom of the abyssal ocean. In addition to reporting on world travel Kevin has also held jobs in medical research (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia), education (California Maritime Academy), drug discovery (Maxygen, Inc.), and hydrothermal vent research (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute). Kevin completed his Bachelor of Science at the California Institute of Technology in 2000, and his Masters of Science in Biological Oceanography at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010.
