Curtis Rogers is a free-lance writer and blogger. He is the editor and founder of 'This Side of the Diaper', a blog about his adventures as a stay-at-home-dad and second-chance parent. In his 40's, he and his wife, Margaret, adopted two children, Charlie and Eli as infants a few years apart. He has a 25 year-old son, Parker, who lives with his wife and infant son in Omaha, Nebraska. Curtis retired from the Air Force in 2007 and went to work for the State of Alaska determining client eligibility for social programs. He quit his job in 2011 to stay home with his sons and pursue writing as a vocation. In May 2015 he graduated from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in History and minors in Political Science and Secondary Education. He lives with his family and dogs Bone, Abby, Poe and Rey in Fairbanks.
