Both a philosopher and a musician by training, Thomas Carson Mark is at home in the lecture hall and on the stage. The author of Motion, Emotion, and Love: The Nature of Artistic Performance (GIA Publications, September 2012), Tom holds AB, MA, and PhD degrees from Columbia University. While in New York, he studied piano with acclaimed concert pianists David Bar-Illan and Jeannette Haien, and taught philosophy for several years at esteemed colleges and universities.
