Thomas Davidson

Senior curator for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation

Thomas Davidson is senior curator for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, a Virginia state agency that administers Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center history museums, with responsibility for research, collections management and exhibit development. Since 1988 he has overseen development of content for permanent and special exhibitions at both museums and currently is on the planning team for the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, to open in late 2016. Davidson received his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh. He is co-author of “Eastern Shore Indians of Virginia and Maryland” and the author of more than 20 book chapters, journal articles and monographs.
