Tjada McKenna

Tjada D’Oyen McKenna leads Habitat for Humanity’s international and domestic field efforts. Working to advance the housing organization’s global impact, McKenna brings together global program, operational strategies and delivery across Habitat’s 1,400 U.S. communities and nearly 70 country programs in Canada; Europe, Middle East and Africa; Latin America and the Caribbean; and Asia-Pacific.

McKenna was most recently the deputy coordinator of development for Feed the Future, the U.S. Government’s global hunger and food security initiative, and the assistant to the administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Bureau for Food Security in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, she held positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, McKinsey & Company, American Express and GE Consumer Finance.

McKenna earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
