Tom Hayden is a former State Senator and leader of Sixties peace, justice and environmental movements. As founder and Director of the Peace and Justice Resource Center in Culver City, CA, Hayden remains a leading voice for ending the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, and reforming politics through a more participatory democracy. He has authored 20 books, including <em>The Lost Gospel of the Earth</em> (1996), <em>Ending the War in Iraq</em> (2007), <em>The Long Sixties</em> (2009) and <em>Inspiring Participatory Democracy: Student Movements from Port Huron to Today</em> (2012) and the forthcoming, <em>Listen Yankee: Why Cuba Matters</em> (2015)
