Thomas F. King is a consultant specializing in cultural resource management, historic preservation and environmental project review. He is the author of ten books and scores of journal articles on these subjects (http://www.amazon.com/Thomas-F.-King/e/B001IU2RWK/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1390409011&sr=1-2-ent). He blogs privately at http://crmplus.blogspot.com/. He works extensively with Native American groups and local communities seeking to protect their cultural environments.
King is also the senior archaeologist for The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR; see http://TIGHAR.org), and for the last 25 years has been part of TIGHAR's effort to find out what happened to Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan when they disappeared over the Pacific in 1937. He has written about this search for the Huffington Post, and also has thus far published two books on the subject: Amelia Earhart’s Shoes, and Thirteen Bones.
