Tom Lounibos

Tom Lounibos gave up an opportunity to play major league baseball in order to pursue a career in Silicon Valley. He’s been hitting home runs ever since. As CEO of SOASTA, the leader in the field of performance analytics, he is an expert in cloud application development and advocate of quality online user experiences. He has more than 30 years of experience in executive roles at early-stage software companies and often consults with the CEOs of many of the most innovative app and mobile startups. In addition, Tom’s sought-after expertise has led to his holding several board positions at Silicon Valley companies. Tom is no stranger to taking startups down the road to public offerings, having led Sagent Technology and Knowledgeware to successful IPOs. He also saw first-hand how the venture capital side of the technology business fuels the industry when he served as entrepreneur-in-residence at Crosspoint Venture Partners. Before heading SOASTA, Tom was president and CEO of Kenemea and before that was CEO of financial services software provider Dorado Corp. In addition to his earlier tenure at Knowledgeware, he also held executive positions at Digitalk Corp. and Encore Financial Services.
