Tom Piechura is an author and public relations executive. He serves as the head of the East Coast Entertainment Marketing division of 42West. He has been with the company since its inception in 2004 and has overseen over 500 national film and television campaigns for a wide roster of studio clients including a24, CBS Films, Disney/Dreamworks, GKIDS, HBO, IFC Films, Netflix, Open Road, Picturehouse, Relativity, Roadside Attractions, Sony/Screen Gems, STX, Summit, 20th Century Fox and The Weinstein Company. He has also worked on numerous successful Academy Awards® and Emmy campaigns and served as a representative to countless directors, producers, writers and production companies. He has also represented works at many major film festivals, including Cannes, New York, Sundance, Toronto, Tribeca and Venice. Piechura is at work on his forthcoming novel "Raging Pitch," chronicling his adventures in the publicity and publishing worlds. Before coming to 42West, Piechura was Vice President–Public Relations at Miramax Films. He also served as Entertainment Editor at Talk magazine and editorial associate for Vanity Fair. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he earned an B.A. in Journalism. He is a native of Brookfield, Wisconsin.
