Co-anchor of FOX 5 News at 5pm & 10pm
Tony Perkins is the co-anchor of FOX 5 News at 5pm & 10pm.
He had previously served as a co-anchor of FOX 5 Morning News, and before that, as the weather anchor for that broadcast.
Tony re-joined the Fox 5 family in 2006, having first been a part of the team from 1993 to 1999.
From 1999 to 2005, Tony was the weather forecaster and feature reporter for ABC's "Good Morning America", helping to take that show to within breathing distance of NBC's "Today" show in the heated network morning show wars.
Tony grew up in the Washington area, attending Mt. Vernon High School in Fairfax County, and the American University in Washington, D.C. He lives here with his wife and son.
