Tracy Caldron

Director of Community Outreach and Youth Programs, Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School

Tracy Caldron began her professional career on Wall Street working for Solomon Brothers Inc., but soon discovered that her true calling was working with youth, after being a Big Sister for several years. Her youth development career spans almost two decades, and she has held senior leadership positions at several non-profit organizations, including The Children’s Aid Society, CAMBA, and Groundwork Inc.

Tracy was also the founding director of NYC’s Out-of-School Time (OST) program for four years at the Department of Youth and Community Development. OST is one of the nation’s largest after-school initiatives.

Currently, she is the director of community outreach and youth programs at the Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School in Brooklyn. Ms. Caldron has a B.S. in Marketing from Morgan State University and a M.A. in Elementary Education from New York University. She resides in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.
