Tracy Reiman

Executive vice president, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals

Tracy Reiman is the executive vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. She oversees the organization's campaigns, marketing, corporate affairs, youth, and Web outreach efforts. Under her guidance, PETA was named the number one nonprofit organization that 13- to 24-year-olds in North America would volunteer for and ranked third for Digital Competence in the L2 Digital IQ Index, after only NASA and the White House. PETA's many victories under Reiman's leadership include influencing clothing designer Calvin Klein to stop using fur; stopping NASA's cruel Bion project, which involved sending primates into space; and convincing all of the top 10 advertizing agencies in the U.S. to sign a pledge never to use great apes in their ads.
