Traie Dockter is a marketing and public relations professional in the Midwest who has worked for global hospitality giant Carlson Companies, a large financial institution and a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota. She currently directs marketing for the Ralph Engelstad Arena, a 100+ million gem on the Great Plains.

She earned a Master’s of Arts degree from North Dakota State University and a B.A. in healthcare administration and English from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Dockter created the Grand Cities Art Fest in Grand Forks, North Dakota, recipient of the 2007 Event of the Year Award of the North Dakota Governors Awards for Travel and Tourism.

A mother of two, she is active in her community and state, serving on the board of directors for the North Dakota Women’s Network, the North Valley Arts Council and the advisory committee of the Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation for Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Region.
