Tyler Bond is the Program Manager at the National Public Pension Coalition, where he supports national and state efforts to protect the retirement security of public employees and advance retirement security for working Americans. Bond joined NPPC after a stint on Capitol Hill, where he served as the Communications Specialist for a member of Congress. Prior to Capitol Hill, Bond was a Federal Legislative Affairs intern at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. There he assisted with efforts to protect programs that reduce poverty and inequality and promote fiscal responsibility. Earlier in his career, Bond worked on Democratic political campaigns in a number of states. Bond has a master's degree in public policy from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in philosophy and political science from Indiana University. He is a native of Edmond, Oklahoma.
