Partner - Brass Check. Founder - HK Austin

Brent Underwood is a partner at Brass Check, where he has created and executed online marketing campaigns for over 30 New York Times bestselling books. Outside of authors he works with multi-talented and others to build and maintain their media narratives. Prior to joining Brass Check, Brent founded and ran a backpackers hostel in Brooklyn, NY which hosted over 3,000 people in two years. He recently founded “HK Austin”, a co-living and co-working space in the heart of Austin, as place of collaboration for creative thinkers, innovators, and travelers. In 2015, HK Austin was the #1 rated hostel in the United States. His work has been featured by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Washington Post, The LA Times, Publisher’s Weekly, VICE, ESPN, Wired, Newsday, Slate, Inc., among others. Brent is a graduate of Florida State University and Columbia University. He currently lives in Austin, Texas.
