Valeria Alvarado is currently a third year student at Villanova University. She is the founder of "We, Too, Are America," an online platform where people within the undocumented, refugee, and immigrant community craft their own narratives. She also founded the #HTXYouthSummit, an event for underserved, inner city youth in Houston tackle on local social justice issues such as gentrification, human trafficking, and urban activism. She is a Houstonian, an immigrant, a brown Latina, and an obsessive tweeter.
