Victoria Ordin

Victoria Ordin is a writer based in Santa Barbara, West Los Angeles, and Manhattan. Her work has appeared in The Weekly Standard. She writes a bicoastal culture and memoir blog called Victorian Chick and also posts regularly for various branches of The Patch in Los Angeles. When not writing or acting as companion to her elderly father, she swims, dances, and dotes on her boyfriend's senior yellow lab, Emma, and 15-year-old Norwegian forest cat, Ollie. A graduate of Yale and former English doctoral candidate at the University of California at Santa Barbara, she is happily and forever ABD (All But Dissertation) and in the early stages of a memoir.
