Originally, from Wallingford, CT, Vin has lived in the Washington, DC area since 2011, after graduating with a Bachelor's degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. He is currently a high school math and special education teacher with DC Public Schools. In 2014, he received his Master's degree from American University. Vin is currently the president of Dignity/Washington, the local chapter of DignityUSA, a non-profit organization that provides Catholic Mass for the LGBT community.
