Vincent Aurelius

Paris-based British writer and journalist

Vincent Aurelius is a British writer and journalist currently based in France. His work draws on earlier stints as a stand-up comic, psychiatric nurse, university lecturer, social worker, foreign correspondent, radio DJ and seedling planter. Being one of six children has also provided ample material. His poetry, short stories and news reports have been published on both sides of the Atlantic, including his 'Once There Were Moonflowers' collection which made it onto the Amazon Poetry Anthologies Bestseller list (despite not being an anthology or selling very well). He has just begun writing a children's book, as he tries to think of an ending for a long-overdue murder mystery. While born in London Vincent has many relatives and a great affinity for the United States. His earliest memory is of Detroit, Michigan. His philosophy on growing older is; "We are all the same age, just at different times". Vincent and his family live near Paris with their fat cat Fifi and faithful tortoise E.T.
