Wallis Nader

Staff Attorney, Texas Civil Rights Project

Wallis Nader is a staff attorney at the Texas Civil Rights Project in Houston, Texas, where she heads TCRP's prisoners' rights docket. She serves as lead counsel on cases challenging civil rights rights abuses in prisons and jails across Texas with the goal of generating systemic change. Before moving to Houston, Wallis spent a year with TCRP’s office in Alamo, Texas, where she worked on a number of civil rights cases, including Perales Serna v. Texas Department of State Health Services, a case challenging Texas’s denial of birth certificates to children of immigrant parents. Wallis graduated from Boston University School of Law in May 2014.
