Walter E. Massey, Ph.D. is president of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and President Emeritus of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. As a prominent physicist and life-long educator, Dr. Massey has served as provost and senior vice [resident for Academic Affairs of the University of California system, where he oversaw three national Department of Energy laboratories. Prior to that, Dr. Massey served as director of the National Science Foundation, director of Argonne National Laboratory, and professor of physics and vice president of research at the University of Chicago.
