Bryant Welch has been a nationally prominent psychologist and mental health advocate for over thirty-five years. A graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Law School and the University of North Carolina doctoral program in clinical psychology Dr. Welch initiated the American Psychological Association's Practice Directorate and helped make psychological care available to millions of Americans. He has held faculty appointments at several American Universities, testified before Congress on numerous occasions, and appeared in all major news outlets on matters pertaining to psychology, politics, civil liberties, and mental health. He is the author of State of Confusion: Political Manipulation and the Assault on the American Mind (St. Martin's Press, 2008.) He resides and practices clinical and forensic psychology in San Francisco, CA.
