Wendi Adelson, Esq. is a clinical professor at Florida State University College of Law and author of This is Our Story (available on kindle and paperback at wendiadelson.com), a novel chronicling her clients’ experiences with human trafficking. She holds an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Gates Cambridge Scholar; a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a Harry S. Truman Scholar and a Reid Scholar; and a B.A. from Brandeis University, where she was a Gilbert Scholar. Ms. Adelson’s clinical practice focuses on the intersections between humanitarian immigration law, child advocacy and disability.

Prior to her work as Visiting Clinical Professor of the Medical Legal Partnership, Wendi Adelson served as program director for the Human Rights and Immigration Law Project at the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights at Florida State University. Prior to joining FSU's faculty in 2007, Ms. Adelson was a Clinical Fellow and lecturer in clinical education and immigration and a staff attorney in the University of Miami School of Law's Children and Youth Law and Community Health Rights Education Clinics
