Lupus warrior and health advocate

Wendy Rodgers, a native Texan, is a Science teacher in Southern California. When not in the classroom, she can be found helping to educate others and increase awareness about lupus. She is an advocate and volunteer for the Lupus Foundation of America, and her latest contributions include the development of the first Public Health Agenda for Lupus and the IMPACT for Lupus program to increase the presence of minorities in clinical trials.
