Whiskey Tortoise is a writer of nonfiction, romance, and erotica, and the interviews editor for a Manhattan-based magazine. Her work has appeared, under a different name, in Tin House, Guernica, The Rumpus, Lumina, Shameless Magazine, and One Cool Word.<br /> <br /> Whiskey Tortoise grew up in Montreal, and after moving to the West Coast for college, she came to New York to be a writer, and to earn her Masters of Fine Arts in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
